Beauty, wonder and intricacy are just some of the words used to describe these stunning gardens.

These vast gardens cover almost 8 hectares around Donnafugata Castle and feature more than 1,500 types of plants, monumental trees and aromatic flowers. The gardens at Donnafugata were laid out in the 19th century on the orders of baron Corrado Arezzo, who wanted to create an exotic and varied park, rich in symbolism.

The monumental staircase, the coffee house, the grottos, the round temple, and the stone maze are just some of the sights of an interactive tour for guests and visitors.

In the gardens you will find 60 QR codes divided into three different routes, the architectural-monumental trail (“A”), the botanical trail (“B”), and the educational trail (“D”), which you can scan to read or hear the information, according to your preference.

Use these trails to learn interesting facts and stories about these historic gardens in Donnafugata. Map of the QR codes in Donnafugata gardens .
