A permanent museum dedicated to the history of Sicilian costume.
Opened at the end of 2020, the Museum of Costume at Donnafugata guides visitors on a journey through period clothing and accessories, giving an exclusive look at three histories of fashion, from the 1700s to the mid-1900s.
The superb setting for this project was devised by Giuseppe Gurrieri and Nunzio Sciveres, provided a backdrop that helps to bring out the very best in each garment from in the Arezzo di Trifiletti collection, acquired from Ragusa city council and which continues to grow every year with further donations.
This is not just an important historic collection, it is a treasure chest that you have to come and see for yourself!
