In one of Ragusa Ibla’s narrow streets is an artist’s workshop which is the last of its kind in Sicily, showcasing the traditions of Sicilian cart drivers and selected by Domenico and Stefano Gabbana for design projects in the “Sicily is my love” collection.
Its goal is to preserve this ancient tradition. Damiano Rotella and Biagio Castilletti are currently the only artisans in Italy specialising in painting and restoring Sicilian carts and welcome visitors to this creative hub in the search for the traditions, art and beauty of Sicily.
