Ragusa’s beaches

Our beaches have Blue Flag status for the quality of the water and the facilities; they also have the Italian ‘Green Flag’ award for being family-friendly.

The Ragusa coastline offers a mixture of public beaches and beach clubs, most with soft sand and shallow water, making them suitable for everyone, even people who are not strong swimmers. Accessibility and facilities are two of the Ragusa coastline’s strongest points.

There are numerous boardwalks to facilitate access to the beach for people with disabilities and, in the summer months, there are also lifeguards.

In addition, visitors can make use of the many showers, available via a card and wristband and costing €0.05 per shower, and there are plenty of car parks close to the beaches.
